About English Practice

Founded by Dawn Cordray, professor of English at Heritage University in the USA.

Professor Cordray has been teaching for over 25 years. Her philosophy is that lessons must be fun and relevant in order to be efficient.

She has written eighteen books, thirty-five short stories, two movie screenplays, a TV pilot, and won six literary awards. She is a professional editor and spends most of her free time reading.

Professor Cordray is originally from New York City and teaches a wide variety of custom-designed courses including creative writing, analyzing movies for writing conflict, and business English.

Her English as a Second Language students have secured jobs at Amazon, eBay, Google, BMW, and other fortunes 500 companies. Her high school and college students have gone on to some of the most prestigious universities for both undergraduate and graduate school, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and UCLA.

 She has edited over 50 novels, multiple movie screenplays, as well as web content, annual reports, manuals, memoirs, and other non-fiction.
